Polly’s Petals has been a long time in the making and it all started way back when I was planning my own wedding.

My now husband Mark was working away from home in the run up to our wedding and on his return every Thursday he would buy me a bunch of roses.  I decided to dry the rose petals in my airing cupboard to use as confetti for our wedding day.

I absolutely loved organising our wedding and once it was all over, I decided to become a wedding co-ordinator.  To be a part of other couples’ special days was a joy and I loved my role in each individual wedding.  It was during this time I made the decision to specialise in natural wedding confetti and so Polly’s Petals began.

During the development stage I discovered that there are many uses for petals such as food, cocktail mixology, pamper products, venue decoration and craft projects.

Polly’s Petals has been growing over the last few years and we now offer food grade petals and flowers too, including locally grown and handpicked  flowers and petals which we carefully freeze dry in a studio here on Portland.
