This colourful bundle of edible flowers, flower petals and greens is contains 15 of our most popular lines, the box is designed to have you florally covered for any culinary creation that your imagination can conjure. From cocktails to cakes and curry to custard. Have you ever tried red rose petals on lamb chops, or blue cornflower petals on smoked salmon? It looks gorgeous!

These beautiful flowers and petals are a wonderful way of adding colour with 100% natural products, no colouring or preservatives. They are a mixture of heat dried and freeze dried flowers.

We are a SALSA accredited independent company and source our fresh flowers from a UK grower and Freeze Dry them in-house.
Freeze drying is a chemical free way of preserving simply by using temperature and vacuum. It is a process that takes many days. We clean each flower by hand and then place them on racks to go in the drier. The flowers retain their original structure and will last for a minimum of 3 months, most will last longer.
Polly’s Petals is an independent family run business based in Dorset and as our name suggests we specialise in all thing’s petals, flowers, botanicals and edible plant based powders. We love the colour, the smell, the texture, and the versatility of them, but most of all we love the fact that they are friendly to the environment.
There is a small chance that you might find the odd tiny little harmless bug hiding between the petals that has escaped our cleaning procedures. These infrequent stowaways would be freeze dried too.

Preparation – No preparations is required for our freeze-dried products.

Butter Icing Cakes – Flowers and micro herbs can be stuck directly to butter icing using its natural tackiness. Don’t refrigerate your cake before you decorate because the butter icing will set and nothing will stick (Edible glue will work if you have this situation) . I usually decorate my cakes the night before I need them and keep them covered in the fridge.

Royal Icing/Fondant Cakes – Flowers and micro herbs can be stuck to royal icing/fondant cakes by using edible glue. This can be done in advance of your event and should not discolour the product.

Garnish Hot Food – Temperature will affect the products so garnish as you are about to serve.

Garnish Cold Food – Will make a lovely garnish and can be decorated the morning of your event. If the food is liquid, please garnish as you serve.

Garnish Hot Drinks – Temperature and moisture will affect the petals so garnish as you are about to serve.

Garnish Cold Drinks – Moisture will affect the petals so garnish as you are about to serve.

Ice Cubes – We suggest using bottled water for making ice cubes, this is so the ice cube is not cloudy. Any of our freeze dried products make beautiful, fun and colourful ice cubes.

The flowers, petals and micro herbs will have a Best Before date on the packaging and will be packed in light resistant, airtight re-sealable bags, please keep in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.  Please Note They  do not need to be refrigerated.

We do not process products that contain any of the 14 main allergens listed below:

  • Celery (including Celeriac)
  • Cereals containing gluten – these are Wheat, Rye, Barley, Oats, Spell and Kamut or their hybridised strains.
  • Crustaceans such as Crabs, Lobsters and Prawns.
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Lupin
  • Milk
  • Molluscs
  • Mustard
  • Nuts such as Almonds, Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Brazil nuts, Cashew Nuts, Pecans, Pistachio Nuts, Macadamia Nuts and Queensland Nuts.
  • Peanuts (also called Groundnuts)
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Soya beans (sometimes called Soya)
  • Sulphur dioxide and sulphites at levels above 10mg/kg or 10mg/litre

No food is stored or consumed in the building where the petals and flowers are mixed and packed to minimise the chance of cross contamination.

Please check with your doctor if you are unsure. Some of our Edible Flowers, Petals and Micro Herbs are unsuitable for women who are pregnant.

UK Addresses

As standard all orders will be processed on the next working day and sent via Royal Mail’s 48hr delivery service.  Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery.

If you need a faster delivery time, please choose our First Class service at checkout.  If your order is received before 12:00 we will process it on the same working day, otherwise it will be the next working day.  Your order will be sent using the Royal Mail tracked 24 delivery service.  Ideally your parcel should arrive the next day, but sometimes it takes as extra day.

If your order does not arrive we have a tracking code for all our parcels.  Head to our contact us page with your order number, we will locate your parcel and update you with its whereabouts.

Non-UK Addresses

For many countries the postal costs will be automatically calculated, if your country is not available please contact us for postal feasibility and costs.
